A different way
Of looking at
Life’s end
In my mind, heart
And soul
It is the individual
Who decides
When it is
The right moment
To transition
The final journey
In the Netherlands
A well described route
With checks and balances
Is in place to make
That choice
Involving three physicians
The patient an his/her family
And a medical ethical board
Which evaluates each and every case
In 2024 there were about 10,000
