Health Manager responsible for general, clinical and reproductive health care: team of 8 national staff and 85 refugee staff in a camp with a population of 27,000.

Responsibilities included action plans, budget monitoring, UNHCR / WHO / donor reporting, EPI, outbreak response, specific training for midwives, nurses and community health workers, introduction of standard operating procedures, clinical work, temporary coordinator role and ward rounds at Bahai hospital for four months.

Coordinating physician for the travel clinic (6 nurses, 3 locations), infectious disease physician, outbreak response (influenza), forensic physician (on-call services)

Physician for kala-azar / malaria, ward rounds, teaching, protocol development, drug ordering, reporting, active case finding for kala-azar, hospital with 75 to 150 patients: 10 medical assistants

Physician for 8 general health clinics and 2 small hospitals (MSF (1), Ministry of Health (1)); high-security mission. Responsibilities: drug ordering, teaching MSF protocols, consultant for all centres, obstetrics, transport of surgical patients, including gunshot, mine and machete wounds, and reporting.

Clinics in Kathmandu, Banepa and the Gorkha district as a physician, 100 patients per day, teaching Village Health Workers: basic hygiene (WHO IMCI)

Set up a baseline database for the Adopt A Mother Programme; outpatient clinic as a physician, approximately 50 children per day (based on IMCI)

Physician in the paediatric department / A&E, 10 to 30 admissions per day.

At a malaria clinic in Central Kolkata, India: CENTROMAP, Centre for Tropical Medicine and Parasitology; diagnosis and treatment of malaria.
