After
Locked Up Alone
And evaluation by UN Convention article 15 violation (torture)
Or violation of article 3 European Convention of Human Rights
This report is written by Jason – who experienced the so called ZIKOS – Very Short Intensive Observation and Stabilisation (closed institutionalisation in youth care)
Because: ” Nobody else did ”
Report Locked Up Alone led to closure of this level of mismanagement of complex emergencies in youngsters
However apologies never followed, follow up to survivors was poor at best. Support needs to be arranged. Investigation of care takers and institutions alike need to be assessed.
A code of conduct needs to be made
This report looks at:
1. What happened to the survivors?
2. According to the victims were the measures taken after report one adequate in their perspective?
3. Did the institutions involved do enough and what was their reflection on steps taken?
